Hypnotized to forget his name and the number 2
What goes on in the mind of a hypnotized person?
This is about fifteen minutes into a casual (for fun) hypnosis session. The video starts directly after I gave my volunteer here the suggestion for name amnesia. You can see my relief at the 20 second mark when I realize the suggestion worked. (Sometimes even the best volunteers just blurt out their names.)
Rather than speeding through suggestions, I wanted to give him time to contemplate the situation and his experience.
Name and number amnesia are classic hypnosis suggestions, used not just for a laugh but also as a great way to show that something is really happening and that hypnosis involves more than playing along. Simple but effective!

Little guy got stuck on a nipple cover. I removed him. Ever. So. Gently. At the end, you can tell that he's lost some of his adhesion. I'm guessing it'll come back (although I'm no gecko expert). I was wondering if a memory could be forgotten by hypnosis. I have a bad memory(only about 10min long) that's been haunting me for about a couple months now and it would be really really amazing if I could forget it completely. Please let me know if that is possible. Thank you!
